Upcoming Events ..

SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY
February 5th, 2012
Please join the Gayton Kirk and other member churches of the Presbytery of the James as we participate in the Souperbowl of Caring to combat hunger.  Throughout January we will be collecting nonperishable items to be donated to the Central Virginia Food Bank.  The Gayton Kirk will also celebrate with a chili cook-off immediately following our 11 o'clock worship service. Please contact the church office by Wednesday, February 1 if you are able to bring chili or a side item (such as cornbread).  If every person attending a worship service on Sunday could bring a single item or donate just one dollar, we would be able to help a tremendous amount of hungry families in the Richmond area.  For more information about the Souperbowl of Caring, see www.souperbowl.org

Richmond Acts of Faith Festival

Join us February 25th, for Mark Twain's Civil War. A presentation by professional actor Ray Carver as a part of the Richmond Acts of Faith festival. A panel discussion will follow the presentation. Please join us! See www.theactsoffaith.org for more details about other area events.
