(5) The Daughters of Zelophahad     is an ecumenical, Christian transitional housing program for the transformation, restoration, and healing of women and children in crisis.    

(6) Interfaith Services of Henrico  is a tax exempt, faith based organization that exists to develop, to coordinate, and to make readily available financial and other resources of the community. These resources directly benefit Henrico citizens whose human needs are unmet by existing governmental services.

(7) Music Mission Kiev The purpose of Music Mission Kiev is to bring the sacred masterpieces of classical music to the country of Ukraine, proclaiming the Gospel to and through Ukrainian musicians to the world--and ministering to the emerging Christian community in Ukraine through evangelism, discipleship, and humanitarian outreach to widows and orphans.

(8) Central Virginia Food Bank identifies hunger needs and food sources and systematically works to acquire and distribute food …”that none should go hungry” in Central Virginia.                                                             

The Kirk-Inlow Fund was established and initially funded in January 1988 by Dr. Gail Inlow of Evanston, Illinois to assist individuals in the Greater Richmond area who were falling through the financial cracks.  Contributions to the fund have been and are invested and the dividends from the investments are used to assist  individuals in need.

Mission Opportunities at The Kirk

  The congregation works together to provide financial  support to global and local organizations. We also provide opportunities for members and friends to contribute time and assist hands-on with some organizations' work of compassion.  This year we will be sending

$8,000 to 8 ministries 


(1) ACTS (Area Congregations Together In Service)is a network of congregations representing a broad spectrum of faith traditions working together in Greater Richmond to prevent homelessness.

(2) CampHanover                                                                 (Presbytery of the James Camp Ministry) Goals of Camp Hanover’s summer residential and day camping program are to: Challenge each camper to explore, grow in, and act on her/his Christian faith. Strive to build a Christ-centered community. Live in and care for God’s Creation. Develop skills in outdoor living. Understand and practice servant leadership.

(3) CEDEPCA is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Guatemala City, serving Central America. 
Cedepca is a training center that provides safe, accepting, creative spaces where women and men from many different Christian traditions can deepen their faith while they strengthen their ability to confront the key issues facing their communities. 
Cedepca seeks to form thoughtful, compassionate disciples of Jesus Christ whose world is big enough to include all God's children and who care for all of God's creation. 
Cedepca offers people the tools to eradicate violence and injustice in their world, especially violence against women and children. 
    

(4) Church World Services works with partners to eradicate hunger and poverty and to promote peace and justice around the world. Together we reach out to neighbors in need near and far--not with a hand out, but a hand up.  So, if you’re looking to help build a better world—a world where there’s enough for all—you’ve come to the right place!
